Gold Standard Managed IT is IT Simply’s fully managed IT and cyber security service for New Zealand organisations. It covers each staff member’s Microsoft 365, cloud backup, cyber security, support from our service desk and field engineers, and IT planning, for a fixed monthly fee per staff member. IT Simply is SMB1001 Gold certified, and we map each client’s path to Gold.

SMB1001 is a cyber security certification standard for small and medium businesses. Bronze to Gold are attested by a company director through CyberCert. What’s included in Gold Standard Managed IT?
For each staff member: their Microsoft 365 subscription, cloud backup for Microsoft 365, cyber security for cloud and devices, a managed email signature, the labour to set up and maintain them, support through our service desk and field engineers, and IT planning and roadmap.
How is it priced?
A fixed monthly fee per staff member covers your ongoing IT support. Projects, including the Silver and Gold uplifts, are scoped and quoted before you commit.
Is there a minimum size?
Yes. Our managed service is for organisations with 10 or more staff.
Where do you provide on-site support?
Our team of engineers are in Christchurch and Auckland, we partner with contractors in Wellington, Hamilton and the rest of the country. Most support is remote, with on-site visits when they’re needed.
What is SMB1001?
A cyber security certification standard for small and medium businesses, with five tiers from Bronze to Diamond, used in New Zealand and Australia. IT Simply is SMB1001:2026 Gold certified.
